I have been desperately longing for something to spruce up our drab dining area! I have always heard amazing things about Mohawk area rugs but have never had the pleasure of owning one… until recently that is.
I was definitely familiar with the Mohawk name. When we carpeted our home we choose the Mohawk brand simply for their reputation for being a top-quality product. One thing I did not know is that Mohawk offers much more than carpeting and rugs, they also sell hardwood flooring, laminate flooring, ceramic tile flooring, stone and marble flooring and vinyl sheet flooring. Even more, the company now offers woven bedspreads, tapestries, pillows, throws and window blinds- best of all their products are made here in the USA.

My decorating style is definitely country, I love primitive themed items and antiques. I knew when I selected my 5′ x 8′ rug it would have to reflect that style but jazz up the room and separate our oak table from the wood floors. Let me tell you, selecting a rug was no easy feat, Mohawk has hundreds of designs, colors, textures and styles of rugs to choose from.
I finally narrowed it down to the Cora Beige 60 X 96 area rug. I am loving the charming floral design and pop of color the rug adds to the room! The quality of the rug is awesome and I love the thick, plush feel. I have a feeling this rug will last us for years to come! You can purchase this rug at Kohl’s, it retails for $199.99. You can purchase Mohawk rugs at stores like Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Target, Macy’s and more.
