Prince Edward Island Preserve Company Preserves Review

Everything in Good Taste, that is the motto at Prince Edward Island Preserve Company. PEI Preserve Company is located in New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Prince Edward Island Preserve Company is an purveyor of fine preserves, teas, & teaware, as well as, hosting a beautiful seasonal waterside restaurant. Bruce & Shirley MacNaughton, the owner’s of PEI Preserve Company, say “Since 1984 we have had the pleasure of meeting people from all over the world and it is very rewarding for all of us to have a little taste of Prince Edward Island travel from our home to yours. We wish you and yours all the best”.

To my delight, I was recently given the opportunity to try some PEI Preserve Company’s delicious preserves and loose leaf teas. After a sampling, I could truly taste that PEI Preserve Company put their heart and soul into the products they offer.

I received a beautiful gift set of three small jars of preserves and two small bags of loose leaf tea. I truly had a difficult time deciding which of the preserves was my favorite because they were all so heavenly!  PEI Preserve Company creates preserves on-site made with only the finest & freshest fruits with no added preservatives.

Adding two of the world’s
most favorite flavors together and adding
Champagne to compliment is ambrosia in a jar.

Using only Prince Edward Island
Strawberries we have created an intense

VERY BERRY CHERRY (if I had to pick, this would be my favorite)
Combining Strawberries,
Raspberries, Cherries, and Wild Blueberries we have
created a flavor that is delicious and unique.
Great topping as well as preserve.
Texture: Loose/ Smooth

The teas are equally wonderful! I enjoy drinking almost any kind of tea, be it cold or hot, black, green, or flavored. It had been a while since I had prepared myself loose leaf tea; the experience and the wonderful PEI Preserve Company’s teas really made my day so much better. Their teas are simply delicious!

Japanese green sencha tea flavored with
essences of strawberries & raspberries.

Ceylon black tea, essence of strawberry,

I am overall, above and beyond impressed by Prince Edward Island Preserves Company’s preserves and teas, each product was fantastic. More so, I am impressed by the commitment to excellence displayed by Bruce & Shirley MacNaughton. Not only do they have a riverside restaurant, gift shop, and on-site gardens but through donations of either products, services or finances they support over 40 groups and organizations on Prince Edward Island!

If there is one thing that is a disappointment to me, it is that I don’t live closer to be able to visit PEI Preserves Company myself 🙂
