My Husband is a super handyman and woodworker– he has definitely used his share of brands and styles of drills. He was completely impressed by the Ryobi P818 drill kit. I personally love the color and especially how light-weight and compact it is. This kit is powered by new and improved Lithium+ batteries. Compact Lithium+ batteries improve the performance of Ryobi 18V ONE+ tools up to 15%. They provide up to 35% more runtime, hold a charge 4X longer and are 45% lighter than 18V ONE+ NiCd batteries. Plus, I really love the battery indicator that allows you to see how much battery charge is left!

The Ryobi P818 Drill Kit includes:

P208B Drill with Screwdriver Bit
P117 Dual Chemistry Charger
(2) P107 18V ONE+ ™ Compact Lithium+™ Lithium-ion Batteries
Tool Bag & Operator’s Manuals

Here are just a few other features we really loved:

  • Drill has a LED light that illuminates work surfaces for increased visibility and MagTray magnetic holder for convenient placement of screws and bits
  • Interchangeable batteries–  Also works with (P100, P102, P103, P104, P105, P107, P108) and chargers (P113, P114, P117, P131, P125)
  • 45% lighter weight reduces user fatigue
  • Extreme weather performance
  • GripZone overmold provides optimum grip and user comfort
  • Temperature LED on charger indicates when the battery is too hot or cold to charge
  • Fade-free power for maximum performance
  • Top-mounted bubble level for drilling and driving accuracy

The Ryobi P818 drill is perfect for all projects, no matter how big or small. It is powerful enough for my husband’s large projects and perfect for me to use to do simple things like re-hang my curtain rods after the kids have pulled them down… again. Best of all the Ryobi P818 drill kit performs as well as my husband’s other drill but for much less money. The Ryobi P818 drill kit has received amazing feedback and a 5-star rating on the Home depot website. I 100% recommend Ryobi for your next power tool purchase.
