The best Thanksgiving memories I remember are when my Grandmother was still alive. My ex-husband and I would all go there(with our 2 daughter’s) and have Thanksgiving Dinner. It was fun and really enjoyable spending time with her.

My parents always invited the people through the neighborhood that had no where to go for Thanksgiving. Dinner, games, talking. Also took plates of food to people who couldn’t leave their home. They never sat down and talked to us about what they did, but years of example and now we do the same.

  5. My Thanksgiving memory that has impacted me the most is how my grandmother would work in the kitchen for HOURS with a smile on her face the entire time. :o)

  6. Tiffany Greene says:

One great memory of Thanksgiving is when my brother & family my sister & family plus me & my family would all go to my parents house to have Thanksgiving dinner together!! Now we hardly do that due to my brother & sister having other plans!!

When I last hosted dinner, I made a turkey and a prime rib and my family voted to do away with the annual turkey and have an Thanksgiving prime rib instead.

  10. I remeber going to my Grandma’s house. My dad was watching football. I climbed on his lap. It was so comfortable and football was so boring . . . I fell asleep. It stands out because I fell asleep slowly. I felt so safe and loved. I remember being so content.

One of my favorite Thanksgiving memory is when I was having to work every day the week of Thanksgiving and I did not think that I was going to be able to spend time with my sister and her family. My sister made sure that I had a turkey dinner all ready for me, and it was hot. Even though I was not able to have Thanksgiving dinner until 8pm, that day, my sister still was there for me with her family and we had Thanksgiving anyway!
